We created this Workbook to address the need for a focused, accessible resources tailored specifically to students preparing for the OLNA assessment. Many students found existing materials lacking in clarity, or simply too costly. This workbook provides structured practice materials, improvement strategies and clear guidance to strengthen your existing Maths skills.

Our approach follows the “I Do, We Do, You Do” structure, a tried-and-true teaching model designed to build understanding and independence over time. Here’s how it works:

• I Do: In the first phase, we demonstrate the problem-solving process, providing an example answer and explaining each step clearly so you can see what’s expected. This step-by-step breakdown builds a strong foundation, making even tricky questions approachable.
  
  
• We Do: Next, we’ll work through questions together. In this collaborative process, we’re your guide as you participate in solving problems, helping you build confidence as you practice. This is your chance to try new strategies and deepen your understanding with support.
  
  
• You Do: In the final phase, you take the lead, solving questions independently. This is where you apply everything you’ve learned, reinforcing your knowledge and building self-reliance. With practice, you’ll gain the confidence to tackle the Numeracy questions on your own.
